About Me

I am a 65 year-old great-grandmother who is reinventing herself by going into business. I live in an apartment in Mid-town Sacramento, CA where there are many, many trees, fresh air, good neighbors, and wonderful restaurants and shops. My day is usually filled with answering and sending e-mails to all my networking friends and associates, watching Law and Order, reading, listening to music and talking to my family and friends. I have written my autobiography, which will be published soon, and look forward to another year of growth and enlightenment. Paris.

About My Business

I have written a series of children's books, and designed the characters into black rag dolls. The books are called "The Oodleville Adventures," and the dolls are called "Oodle Dolls." The land of Oodleville is a new world full of questions, and hopefully, answers that children may like and want to discuss and learn.

Why I Started My Business

I started my business because there are no commercial black rag dolls on the market. There is also a need to bring the information of our world to the level of children to help them understand the importance of clean air and water, social responsibility, education, technology, music and art, relationships, peace, and friendship ; to name a few.

What I Love About Being A Business Owner

I love the possibilities of bringing to life something that no one else has, adding value to the joy of reading and play, introducing children to new areas of thought and experience, and having the freedom to direct my own destiny.
