I have three Home based businesses. I started with Avon and made it to President Club, one of the advancements of the oportunities of promotion. youravon.com/niolanibrown Then I went from there to selling Novelties, this is alot of fun to me because i get to go to parties and present the products and i could stay and mingle or go home, after takeing orders of course. lani2003l.yourpassionconsultant.com Last I went with SMC well it started off alright but it's not what they said it was on the commercials. I believe I can make it work but this is my slowest start up business yet. So we will see, right now my bigest problem is getting orders even though I give out free $10.00 gift cards. Why I Started My Business

I worked in Fast Food till I had my first son which is 19 years old now, and then as a Home Health Aide which I started when my first son was about 5 yrs old. To me this is a very stressful job, tend to care for people which you are told not to do. This effects you when something happens to them. I injured myself comming home from work in 2005 and had my very first sergery and the biggest complications I ever had in my life. So thought why do I have to always be rushing around with not enough time to shop for groceries for minimun wage. I was already selling avon but it was a hobbie. Now I want to be comfortable from home and watch my kids mature and have their lives.

What I Love About Being A Business Owner

I don't have to answer to anyone.
I don't have to rush because I'm Late.
I don't have to leave earlier than normal because the snow has transit all messed up.
I get to work my own hours.
I get to work when I want and not when someone tells me to report in.
I get to pay myself, Although i think I am ready to Hire someone to take some of the load off me now.
I can help people get jobs if I expand.
I can become sucessful if it's all done right.
